Dr. Love has been Lake Mary Eye Care’s primary eye doctor since 2000.
Lake Mary Eye Care optometrist Dr. Robert Love received his Doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia and completed a residency in pediatric optometry at Nova Southeastern University.
After his residency, Dr. Love joined the faculty as a clinical instructor in the pediatric and binocular vision department. He was awarded his Fellowship into the American Academy of Optometry.
Today, Dr. Love is now a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. He is the only local eye doctor who has completed a Residency in Pediatrics and Binocular Vision, and is Board-Certified by the American Board of Optometry.
Dr. Love also enjoys helping elderly patients with ocular diseases such as Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy and neurological disorders of the eyes. Dr. Love trained at the Baltimore VA, in a private ocular disease office in Salt Lake City and with a Neuro-ophthalmologist in West Palm Beach.
After he stopped working at the University, he started working at Lake Mary Eye Care and did part time work at a ocular disease site. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
